Why did you choose the Aegis Dual Program?
I have 3+ years of industry experience as a software engineer in a VLSI device firm. Armed with Technical details in my Engineering education I entered the corporate and started my career. I have learned various new networking technologies and deployed multiple devices. But soon I realized I need to have the big picture. I never wanted to miss the forest for the trees. So to get the in-depth understanding of business and other important aspects of a business like strategy, marketing, economics and most important finance I took a break and looked for MBA. But when I saw the combination as Telecom MBA I was very happy to see this kind of combination. So I opted for Dual degree in Aegis school of business and telecommunication.
How did you find the faculties in Aegis?
The most important aspect of any b-school is its faculty and I think we are extremely lucky in that regard. All the faculties are extremely good and very thorough but Mr Anirban Bhaumik, Stern Pass-out with 15+ years of experience took us through technology management which is the most memorable course for me.
What makes Aegis different from other business schools?
If I look back the tight journey I had for the whole year, I know now with this much rehearsal I can face any tight situation, I can meet any deadlines and can interpret and analyze numerous business situations. On the other side telecom learning was immense with few basic courses like Networking, data communications, Wireless. Other than that Big picture is clearly framed by Telecom industry analysis, Telecom regulatory affairs and guest lecturers from industry stalwarts.
Outside of the classroom, what have you been able to do?

Other than just the curriculum work, we did so many live projects under work assistanceship. I designed websites, did networking projects, market research and some consulting work during this one year. So the most important take way of MBA is clear perspective and love for numbers.
