MPTM is Similar to Masters of Science in Telecom Management (MSTM) offered by Oklahoma State University Who Should Apply Candidates aspiring to take admission for MPTM FT should be BE/ B Tech/ M Tech/ MCA/ M Sc in Electronics, Electronics & Telecommunication, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or B Sc/ BCA/ Diploma with three years experience in telecom/ IT industry. |

The program is spread
over 12 months with 9 months intensive classroom training & two months
industry training. There is Telecom Industry orientation, work shops and
Guest lectures by the industry experts on every Saturday and Sunday. Course Curriculum Term I 1. Telecom Systems I 2. Computer Networks & Enterprise Solutions 4. Optical Fibre Communication (OFC) Fundamentals 5. Marketing Management 6. Managerial Economics 7. Financial Management & Accounting 8. Management Principles & Organizational Behavior 9. Corporate Communication Term II 1. Telecom Systems II 2. Mobile Technology 3. Telecom Business Management & Regulatory Issues. 4. Human Resource Management (HRM) 5. Statistics & Operational Research 6. Service Marketing (3 credit units) 7. Project Management Industry Project (Two Months) Term III 1. Telecom Systems Analysis, Planning and Design (4 credit units) 2. OFC Systems and Networks (4 credit units) 3. Entrepreneurship & Venture Management (3 credit units) One Industry project of 25 Credit Units One Library Research Project of 15 Credit Units Workshop Emotional Quotient (EQ) & Personality Quotient (PQ) Development (5 credit units) spread over three terms. Seminars, Workshops, Conferences, Various Students' Activities, and Leadership Forum - spread over three terms. |
Admission Procedure The entire Admission process consists of 3 Stages: Stage 1 - Apply Stage 2 - Appear for the G4 Aegis ATA (Aptitude Test for Admission) [Conditional]* Stage 3 - Interview Stage1: Application Form (A) By mail : Send mail to receive the free CD information brochure and Application Form. OR (B) Downloadable Application Form -available in PDF format at http://www.aegisedu.org/application.pdf. OR (c) Fill the online Application Form available at http://www.aegisedu.org/application Important: Candidates aspiring to take admission for Part Time MPTM course are required to send their CV at [email protected]. Short listed candidates will be directly appearing for interview (NO ENTRANCE TEST). Stage2 Selection Test -g4AegisATA (Aptitude test for Admission) G4 Aegis ATA is computer based test of 60 min. This test has multiple choice questions on various topics such as-Verbal ability, General Knowledge, Mathematics, English, General Science, Logical and Analytical reasoning and some IT and Telecom related basic questions. Stage3 Interview Short-listed candidates will be called for interview. Interview Centers: Mumbai, Hyderabad and Indore On the basis of performance in the Test and Interview the student will be selected for the Course. |
