India is churning out MBAs to fuel this growth from number of institutions dotted around the subcontinent. Among these are the Aegis School of Business in Mumbai and the Faculty of Management Studies, University of Delhi. The Aegis curriculum, described by India's Economic Times as one of the country's top five one-year MBA programmes, Aegis dean Thor Hendrickson said he learned from his research with big companies, including Oracle and the Boston Consulting Group, that multinationals required MBAs with wide international exposure, practical experience in the business world and the ability to cross-perform. Aegis focused on all three aspects to produce well-rounded MBAs.

About us

In the beginning of this century in India we started realizing that old models of producing general managers and functional specialist are no longer adequate in today’s environment. Our education needs be more focused towards satisfying industry requirements.

This realization laid down the foundation of Aegis.

Aegis, founded in India in 2002 with the support of Bharti (Airtel), was the first institution in India to offer a Telecommunication Management programme. Following the success of this programme, we have launched One year MBA programme, Two Year Executive MBA and one year MPIS / MS in computer science in association with -- in Mumbai, the economic centre of India.

According to the Economic Times, Aegis School of Business is one of only five top one year MBA programs in India along with the likes of IIM Ahmdebad, SP Jain and ISB. Aegis is also one of the few programs in India to recruit a majority of candidates with real life experience.

The Aegis MBA was developed to meet the needs of India’s future corporate leaders in consultation with top firms such as Oracle, Wipro, Accenture, Boston Consulting Group (BCG), Ernst & Young, Reliance Energy, Reliance Infocom, GTL, Bain, DHFL, Godrej, ICICI Bank, Shyam Telelink, Bharti and Indus Venture Management. We also has worked towards the challenging goal of maintaining the fees at an affordable level.
